To those that celebrate!

Have you noticed, some days I’m a real chatty Cathy, and other’s you can hear the crickets? LOL 😀 Okay, so yeah, I can be prone to exargeration too.

Today has been a busy day. It’s all good.

My back pain is still gone, my legs-not as bad as last week, but still pretty wonky. My knees, ankles, hips and inner thighs are burning and on a scale of one to ten. Dudes! I’m going to have to go with 15 on the burning alone! OWIES! 😦

so once again, I’ve been using the DBT skills I teach/facilitate. I love distress tolerance, I’ve been doodling, and creating a word game. Yeah, I’m a geek! I’m sitting here creating a cross word puzzle. lol Next up, is a word find. Oh and yes, I do like Boggle and Scrabble, why do you ask? LOL 😀

but for now, I have some return calls to make to some people, and then take a walk to get the blood flowing, maybe stop some of the burning. And then perhaps read or do a mini-wallpaper on the iphone/ipad.

I have these cute blinky reindeer antlers, and I can’t wear em to work. Waah! LOL so watch out come Friday 5:05 pm, they’re going on! 😀

okay, so to distract myself from my weird legs…I’ve been playing on my phone. Tumblring, posting updates on Facebook, and replying to emails. I’ve also been playing around with this cute little app: Snowglobe Maker. And I’ve thought of a couple different uses for it.

I’m going to be photoshopping some of these globes onto a blank canvas, adding in some more christmassy stuff, and then using as a card, place settings, or what have you.

So wooohooo for my iPhone! 😀 lol

I’ve also found some cute vids that I swear the Plot Bunnies led me to, and shared them with my co-writer. Plot Bunnies are more fun when shared! at least I think so, and I can’t be the only one with a herd. lol Hey! What is a group of bunnies called?

Pod=group of dolphins,
Murder=group of crows.
And that’s all I can remember off the top of my head.

laters…back to playing on the snow globe maker, I’ll see if I can upload one from the phone. duh! lol 😀

Last week, I had a bit of a scare, and I was intending on going to the ER. But then…I didn’t.

I had woken up, and got right out of bed. Now as most Chronic pain sufferers know, that’s usually not possible. I have fibro. I normally have to coax my body to get up and out of bed.

Then I got in my car and drove to work, after my morning ritual, duh. Any who when I got there, my legs refused to cooperate to get out of the car. So I pounded my one leg, and felt pain, waited a few minutes and then got out.

Later that day, I had been sitting in my office, and went to get up to go get some coffee. Again, my legs didn’t want to do it! So this time I pounded on both of them. Yeah, stupid, I know. But I at least wanted to know if I could feel. I finally realized that the constant pain in my lower back was GONE! Okay. Some would be thrilled by this. Me, I was scared. I’ve never not had this pain, since my helicopter accident. It’s always been there. And then add that into my legs didn’t want to work, and you see where I’m going?

It got better by the next day, pain returned and my legs worked.

Now this morning, I’ve noticed the pain is there, not as bad. And my legs are acting wonky again. Like I really have to concentrate putting one foot in front of the other. I’ve been walking since I was one. This is kind of annoying. And really, it’s scaring me more, than it’s annoying. I wish the VA would get off it’s tuckus, and get me my tests for MS. One of my doctor’s diagnosed me with it, but oh yeah, NO tests. So it’s what we in the medical profession call a R/O=rule out. I want this ruled out. I think this is an after effect of my stroke combined with my fibro. Either way, I just want to know. And how often is this going to happen? Where I have to pinch or pound my legs to get them to work.

my Facebook page. And it’s not been so bad, I have re-connected with some friends, that I have missed. Had an issue with gmail a year ago, and it wiped out my address book. Couldn’t recover them. 😦
