Awesome People!! Part one: the Writer! :)

That are also my friends; I have writers, artists, and quite the mix in my friends!! And I’ve decided to highlight some of them. Up first!

A writer that has his first book available now;
Brad Bosshart is a multi-cultural science fiction writer. He has 3 short-story anthology e-books available on Amazon, ibookstore, Lulu, and Barnes and Noble. He lives in Pittsburgh with his son and very understanding wife. He wrote his first sci-fi story in third grade and has been writing since then.

Spring/Summer fashion shows keeping popping up & our love for bright, floral fabrics continues. Today on PYP we try our hand at another floral print – last time it was roses & today we attempt some spring time daisies. Revlon recently released a huge line of new shades, including the Deborah Lippmann – Glitter in the Air dupe. We purchased a few and we’re going to try and incorporate them in all of this week’s tutorial to introduce our readers to the new colours as well.

Step 1: After applying a base coat paint nails with two coats of American Apparel – Angeline. This was one of those colours that we saw and instantly had to have. It is the perfect hot pink without being too neon or too red and as always, AA polishes have a creamy texture that always applies evenly.

Wow! 20 + emails

asking for more info on the e-cigs. okay. Here’s a pic of the pack open, which you charge the cigs in the pack, the USB or wall charger connects to the pack. There’s a little spot on the bottom of the pack. Then there’s a light on the side, when the light goes out, the cigs are charged.
Inside the pack, there are five slots for your cartridges. And two spots for the e-cig.
The picture shows the pack open, and the cig broken into it’s two parts, the smaller part is the flavor cartridge, you screw into the larger cig part. there are videos on the web site. I’m sure the ‘professionals’ can explain this as well, if not better. lol

Smoking; trying to quit, or save some moola

I have recently switched from real tobacco, to e-cigs.

I was able to buy and try a disposable Blu. One cig is equal to one pack. And omg, this one cig lasted me for a week. So if the cig was $13. to try, and I didn’t buy a pack at all last week, I saved $22. and didn’t miss the feel of holding a cig, or puffing away. What I didn’t miss, that is no longer an issue; the smells, the ashes, the accidental burning, having to freeze in the cold outside.
And a lot of friends that are allergic to cigarette smoke, they noticed I wasn’t stinky. lol 🙂

So far, this experiment is cool. It’s just educating ppl to the fact, that they aren’t ‘real’ cigarettes. I probably won’t be smoking in a theater any time soon. But when the craving hits, I can go into a bathroom and puff. lol reminds me of high school. only now, no real smoke!!

Now then the start up cost of this is comparable to a carton of smokes. But…the price of disposables could get really expensive. So just swallow the cost, $50 for the start up kit I bought. You get the pack, the chargers; both wall and USB. Yeah, you can charge your pack, as you surf the net. lol And in the starter kit, you get a couple of different ‘flavors.’ I like the cherry. There’s Menthol, regular, Java Jolt, Vanilla and the cherry crush.

Where this could get expensive, the cost of the replacement cartridges. However, sign up for the email newsletter, and you might get some deals-from the web shopping, or coupons for the stores that carry them. For me, Meijer and Wal-Green’s sell these.
As far as the cartridges go, Wal-Green’s sell out of the Vanilla quickly. Thankfully there is an internet site, with the capability of ordering online. Delivery looks to be within 2-3 bs days. But check it out.

so if you’re looking to quit, I don’t know how well this would work…but if you’re looking to save some money, while you are still smoking, tired of ppl telling you ‘you stink’ or tired of going outside and freezing….switch. I’ve already figured out how much moola I am going to save.

now if only I could get a good deal as a sponsor of them. lol 😀

Yay for co-writers :D

I love writing. I can do it most anytime. But I’ve come to find out, that it is more fun, and sometimes the conversations are more realistic with a co-writer. Thank you Google Docs for real time writing with a partner. No more waiting on email replies.

yesterday was not the best day, and I wanted to write….my co-writer had the option to go out with real people for real social interaction. He decided to stay home, and write with me. aww! HUGS! and it worked, cheered me right up.

I write for lots of reasons, number one, it’s therapeutic for me. Number two, I have an active mind, that needs an outlet. Otherwise, I have stories that are stagnant in my mind. Now…I have an outlet for these ideas.

cause with a co-writer, there are other writing issues…any who, that post will be later. Right now, I’m just really happy that he’s writing with me. lol I still feel bad, but then again…I feel better. I

I’d break into a song and dance..but I’ll save myself the embarrasment. lol 🙂

so yest, I downloaded EA’s freeplay of the Sims. And yeah, I can see how this could be addicting. I’ve created my second SIM, and my next goal is to be social. lol okay?
As someone that’s never played before, I’m having a definite learner’s curve to this game. But it’s interesting. I just played while at lunch, and put the two of them down for a nap. So I can go back to work. Wishing I could take a nap. lol

Then I popped onto iTunes, well, iBooks and have downloaded some new books. They finally have the Simon’s Cat books on iBooks. I was able to get a new Star Trek: Enterprise The Romulan War, pt 2, and a book on Wicca I haven’t been able to find in a book store. So woohoo!!!
I also noticed that the new JR Ward, Lover Reborn, part of the Black Dagger Brotherhood is available for pre-order. But omg, $14.99. I think I’ll wait for the paperback. A friend of mine says that ppl are posting negative comments on Amazon-for the Kindle readers. The most I’ve paid for a digital book was $14.99 yet it was a book that I needed for my Master’s program, and the digital was still cheaper than a paperback, on 1/2.com, or amazon. OY!

I have a seed in my mind that I’m letting germinate before I start my post on writing…and in advance, this is nothing bad. Just observations I’ve made.
I’ll start writing it out, and then see how I feel about posting it this weekend. Now back to Words with Friends with my sis, it’s her turn. lol and oh yeah, work stuff too. I’m helping a colleague out with some paperwork stuff-digital paperwork stuff.

***Oh my, my sim has woken up! Yeah, I just received the notification. LOL 😀

 There’s no doubt that Leopard print is the cat’s meow. It really is a print for everyone because it can be worn so many different ways – loud and proud as the main focus of your outfit or snuck in with one of your accessories. One thing that we’ve noticed is that it can be hard to find good brown polish – we don’t know how many times we’ve bought one with high hopes and have it look black on our nails. gee how much trouble can I get in…

With the Sims??

so a friend on FB invited me to play, and after half an hour….’Gee, wonder if there’s an app for this?’ LOL 😀 uh yeah! and I’ve downloaded it.
so tmrw, I’ll update how often I’m actually playing it. lol

and I also have a semi-serious post, that I’ll be typing in parts during the day, to post hopefully over the weekend. so far, I think I’ve done alright on the 365 project with Word Press, “Blog 365” 😀
