This is more for me, to keep track of when I’m most productive in my writing.
so you can skip this if you want… 😀 and yes, the times are in the military format. That’s just how I do it. 😀

15:20 1170 words

16:30 6673 words

a difference of 5503 within an hour! AWESOME!

Finally got around to taking what I had dictated and handwritten and typed it up, I wasn’t to happy with the word count. And then…after I had some food at lunch, the muse started whispering again. And we’re off again. 😀

I’m curious, are there other NANO writers that don’t have ‘full blocks’ of time to write? I write when I’m able to write. And if I can’t get to the comp, I use one of my voice apps and then email that to myself to correct and type in. Or I listen to the recorded voice and type it in that way. I can type as someone is speaking to me. good to have this skill!! 😀

hmm that’s better…

So I checked into the support groups this morning, and gee, someone must’ve read my blog entry. 😀 Much better this morning, more like what I perceive a support group should be. And yes, I have the answer in that sentence, ‘Perceive.’

A person’s expectations and perceptions can make or break an idea or an event. I try to stop having expectations and simply enjoy the moment. But those pesky little perceptions keep interfering. Guess I need to start doing my mindfulness more often.

How about you? Do expectations and perceptions ruin something for you?

and now back to our regularly scheduled NANO! Woot! *\O/*
the wasically wabid wabbits I had yesterday have finally been corralled and fed copious praises of soon…yes. soon! And I’m back onto the story I’m writing.
I’m kinda like the turtle, I’m slow to the start, and I’ll be slow to the finish, but I will finish! 😀 Motivation rule #1 of being me, I’m Awesome! I can do this!
lol 😛

Bonfire Night 2013
November 5, 2013 in Great Britain

Bonfire Night is celebrated on November 05, 2013. Bonfire Night, also known as Guy Fawkes Night, Guy Fawkes Day and Firework Night, is an annual commemoration primarily in Great Britain. Its history begins with the events of 5 November 1605, when Guy Fawkes, a member of the Gunpowder Plot, was arrested while guarding explosives the plotters had placed beneath the House of Lords.

Celebrating the fact that King James I had survived the attempt on his life, people lit bonfires around London, and months later the introduction of the Observance of 5th November Act enforced an annual public day of thanksgiving for the plot’s failure.

Bonfire Night celebrations can pose a risk to public safety due to the possibility of fires, injuries, or fights. In parts of the Caribbean, laws banning fireworks and explosives have muted the occasion, and safety concerns in New Zealand have resulted in similar sales restrictions, although public firework displays remain popular there.

Election Day in the United States
November 5, 2013 in the USA

Election Day in the United States is celebrated on November 05, 2013. Election Day in the United States is the day set by law for the general elections of public officials. It occurs on the Tuesday after the first Monday in November, which is usually also the first Tuesday in November. The earliest possible date is November 2 and the latest possible date is November 8. For federal offices (President, Vice President, and United States Congress), Election Day occurs only in even-numbered years.

Presidential elections are held every four years, in years divisible by four, in which electors for President and Vice President are chosen according to the method determined by each state. Elections to the United States House of Representatives and the United States Senate are held every two years; all Representatives serve two-year terms and are up for election every two years, while Senators serve six-year terms, staggered so that one-third of Senators are elected in any given general election.

General elections in which presidential candidates are not on the ballot are referred to as midterm elections. Many state and local government offices are also elected on Election Day as a matter of convenience and cost saving, although a handful of states hold elections for state offices (such as governor) during odd-numbered “off years”, or during other even-numbered “midterm years”.

Election Day is a civic holiday in some states, including Delaware, Hawaii, Kentucky, Montana, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, West Virginia, and the territory of Puerto Rico. Some other states require that workers be permitted to take time off from employment without loss of pay. California Elections Code Section 14000 provides that employees otherwise unable to vote must be allowed two hours off with pay, at the beginning or end of a shift.
