So I said I’d blog about what happened, etc.

Early morning, up and at ’em! Well I was. Hubs was dragging a bit. We finally got on the road, and then we hit rush hour traffic in Indy. (I wasn’t allowed to say, ‘I told you so.’) So we were running late to my first appt, and missed it completely. No worries, my doc ordered it done again-blood draw, and so it still happened. And then the next round of tests started, X-rays, and a lot of other fun stuff. ugh 😦

Anywho- I’ve found out I have some more tests that I’m being scheduled for, and then a surgery asap. Yeah, I should’ve had the surgery right after the heart attack. Um oops! ~sighs~

Then we were heading home, made a stop by dad in law’s and he was nice. (Shocked the hell outta me!) And then once again on the road again, only thing is, the car started acting up- hub’s car, not mine. And then we stopped on the side of the road right outside the town we live in. Yep, fun fun fun… anywho he took off running to the house about 1.6 miles, and then he drove my car to the tow truck/mechanic’s shop. Yay! As I’m waiting on the road, I’m watching everyone drive on by. NO One stopped! And then, as I was getting all…kersplutzed, and being cheered up by face book friends, a police officer finally stopped by. He called the auto shop and asked them to hurry up the tow. So that was nice. And he was nice, he was wearing some of the Wounded Wear clothes, yeah, he’s a fellow veteran too. Really nice. He stayed with me for a bit to make sure I was okay. Women alone on the road, not a good thing. Especially when I told him what my friends were doing to cheer me, are there zombies? Do you have a defensible position? He was cracking up with me. I had informed my friends, good news; it’s not raining, snowing and no zombies. LOL So yeah, we started talking about my chances if zombies did show up. BTW hubs has informed me, in this area, they’d be the slow stupid zombies, I’d be fine if I kept my mouth shut. LOL 😛

So in a nutshell, that was Friday! lots of tests and a surgery being scheduled, dad in law being nice (still freaking me out), car died and is currently in the shop, and then when I made it home, I was out of it. Sick. Oh yeah, my doctor did tell me I was sick with a bug, but didn’t prescribe any other antibiotics. ~sighs~ Saturday and Sunday, I was in bed the whole weekend, my body hurt, my temp was up, and then it went up even more, and yeah. So once again, no writing on my nano was accomplished. ~sighs~

Today power is out at certain places, lots of wind damage that we saw driving in this morning. And some schools were on a two hour delay. Please be careful out there.
We’re commuting and boy is that fun. LOL I have to be at work early this week, so hubs had to get up early and it was a giggle fest in the car, we were being silly and arguing over stupid stuff. Mainly that I wasn’t driving like he would. Oh well… 😛 And I have a ride to his business later, and I have two hours there to wait till he gets off work. So reading or writing?? Guess? LOL The one thing I don’t like about being a one car family, the wait times, esp when I still feel yucky sick.

Anywho, that’s been the flashback and I included in the weekend. Except for Sunday when all the freaking alarms in town kept going off. They don’t blow them for just tornadoes, but any type of bad weather. It didn’t look that bad to me. Well after driving through Marion on the way to work this morning, damn, the wind was bad. Signage out all over the place, roofs turn off of buildings, trees broke in half all over the place. ugh…

Please take care, drive carefully!
