I’m feeling the need to be:

Creative, dancing, hiking, writing, researching for fun- I have lots of questions, and I love doing the research. 😀

Notice the majority of those are basically cerebral? Yeah, I should probably branch out and go walking and such this weekend. When I get home, and after my study time, maybe do some small creative stuff. Nothing major till after my exam next week. ACK! it’s next week!! Breathe, it’ll be okay… Breathe! lol

okay, just had to get that out! feel much better! 😀

Seriously though, ya’ll have an awesome day! Enjoy what warm weather we appear to be having! I am!

And now for a little giggle, I found this while doing research on something for work, yes seriously this popped up in my search results. Awesome!!

Worship of Tools Day
March 11, 2014 in the World

Worship of Tools Day is observed on March 11, 2014. Worship of Tools Day is a chance for men to celebrate tools by working with them or buying one. A tool is any physical item that can be used to achieve a goal, especially if the item is not consumed in the process. Tool use by humans dates back millions of years, and other animals are also known to employ simple tools.

A toolbox is a box to organize, carry, and protect the owner’s tools. They could be used for trade, a hobby or DIY, and their contents vary with the craft of the owner. A toolbox could refer to several types of storage to hold tools. It could mean a small portable box that can carry a few tools to a project location or a large storage system set on casters.

***I know more than one woman who loves to work with their hands, and are darn handy with tools. Now there are women in the majority of the trades, including the one I worked at, Construction.

National Oatmeal Nut Waffles Day
March 11, 2014 in the USA

It’s Oatmeal Nut Waffles Day! Waffles became a popular baked treat during the Middle Ages. The original recipe called for just flour and water, so vendors sold waffles on the streets during the religious fasting season. Bakers branded the waffles with coats of arms, religious symbols, and the traditional honeycomb pattern we are accustomed to today. Eventually people began adding other ingredients like eggs, butter, milk, and honey.

Looking for a healthier version of this breakfast classic? Make a delicious batch of oatmeal nut waffles with nutritious whole grain oats and chopped pecans mixed right into the batter. Top your oatmeal waffles with peanut butter and syrup, or pair with yogurt and honey for a complete breakfast. Happy Oatmeal Nut Waffles Day!
