Madly In Love With Me Day
February 13, 2015 in the World

Ladies, every year on the day before you lavish the significant other in your life with all your love, step back and prepare by focusing as much attention on yourself.

Madly in Love with ME is a international self-love movement. It was created to raise the awareness of self-love among women and girls around the world… and to provide a pathway that gives those women and girls the guidance, support, wisdom and inspiration they need to freely and fully live and love the women they are, free of self-criticism, self-hatred, and self-abuse.

It was founded by Californian self-help guru Christine Arylo, author of “Madly In Love With ME, The Daring Adventure To Becoming Your Own Best Friend”. The philosophy is that to truly be able to show love to others, a woman must first be empowered to love herself without apology.

Blame Someone Else Day (first Friday the 13th of the year)
February 13, 2015 in the World

What a great time you can have on this day. Imagine all the problems, errors, and mistakes you could heap on someone else today. On this day you don’t have to take responsibility, or the blame, for any faux pas on your part. On the downside, this day comes as a double edged sword. While you are busy putting the blame elsewhere, someone might just be putting the blame on you!

Blame Someone Else Day could just be your day. But, watch out….. any blame you place today, can come back to bite you tomorrow. After all…what comes around goes around.

World Radio Day
February 13, 2015 in the World

World Radio Day is observed on February 13, 2015. World Radio Day is on 13 February. It was proclaimed on 3 November 2011 by UNESCO’s 36th General Conference. It was originally proposed by Spain. The General Conference proclaimed that this day be celebrated by UNESCO on 13 February, the anniversary of the day the United Nations established United Nations Radio in 1946.

In December 2012, The General Assembly of the UN endorsed the proclamation of World Radio Day, thereby becoming a Day to be celebrated by all UN agencies, funds and programmes and their partners. All regional and international broadcasting organizations supported the proclamation. Various radio industry bodies around the world are supporting the initiative by encouraging stations in developed countries to assist those in the developing world.

Radio broadcasting is a one-way wireless transmission over radio waves intended to reach a wide audience. Stations can be linked in radio networks to broadcast a common radio format, either in broadcast syndication or simulcast or both. Audio broadcasting also can be done via cable radio, local wire television networks, satellite radio, and internet radio via streaming media on the Internet.
