sad sad sad… :(

Most of you know, I love doing reviews of new apps, and other stuff I find important.  I was asked by a geek girlie blog to do a review of a new Girly tech piece.

OH YES! Squee! the one time I’m asked and now I can’t do it! wth?

Perhaps you’ve heard of it; Ringly yes! I was impressed enough that I was willing to pre-order one!

Notice the word, Was!

The rings only come in sizes; 6, 7, and 8. Okay???  I can wear an eight, however that would mean removing a piece that my husband has had commissioned for me, NOT going to happen. So when I wrote customer service about having it taken to the jewelrer that hubs and I do business with, they inform me that the material is one that can not be resized.

OMG WHAT!

So if you have a big finger, or you don’t want to wear it on your ring finger… hopefully you have a size that they have.

Me, no! So that makes this review easy, I won’t be buying one, as they don’t make them in my size. And I thought shoe shopping was difficult! sheesh!

that’s why this is titled, sad sad sad… because I give great word of mouth, yeah yeah, HAHA! Seriously, if I like something and think it’s fabulous, easy to use and you can’t live with out it. Then you see lots of coverage of it, and hold your hand over my mouth to shut me up. Not going to happen with Ringly, sorry ladies. correct your size issues and I’ll be back. Please feel free to notify me when you do, I like the concept!

an opinion

I belong to quite a few various groups on Facebook, and no this entry will not be posted on FB due to that.  Because this is my opinion of some comments that were on one of those groups.

I’ve posted it to a few of my personal groups and it was received the way, I believe it was to be received.

So many opinions of how this image is demeaning, crude, sexist and et al. Honestly, I don’t see it that way at all. The funny thing about the opinions #1 issue is that Superman is clothed, and Wondie is nude! Um excuse me? Can I point out that she is topless and that his and her arm is covering her breasts! The next opinion is that Superman is jamming his hands in her pants- see someone noticed them. I’m going to point out, again, that no he is not. His hand is resting on her abdomen. No jamming anything!

Most of these comments are from men. Which I’m like, wth?

My female friends and I do not feel offended, or that Diana is being demeaned. We feel that this is a beautiful and romantic piece. Some of my other male friends have seen it that way as well, and one even pointed out that a female erotica writer sees herself as her protagonist and when the romance starts that her female character is nude first! So I really don’t see what all the fuss is about? NO seriously, I don’t get it!

The scandalous image -which to me and Hubs is beautifully done! 😀

now then, do you see anything wrong with this art piece?

I am curious! thank you!

ARMAD is an annual Non-Political Amateur Radio Public Service project that stands for Amateur Radio Military Appreciation Day.  We work with National Military Appreciation Month during the Month of May.  We also provide other events, and work with other groups as requested during the year.  We ask Amateur Radio Operators from around the world to team up during this effort to allow the people from our communities to gather at public locations such as shopping centers, parks, VA hospitals, and sporting events to express verbal positive support “LIVE” over two way radio for members of the Military, Veterans, Reserves, National Guard, Retired, Coalition Forces, First Responders, and Military Support Groups.  Many of us have friends, relatives, and neighbors that are active duty, and past members of the armed forces.  ARMAD gives us the chance to support one another, and to express our thanks and appreciation to those that sacrifice and serve in the Armed Forces.

Gardening Exercise Day
June 6, 2015 in the USA
National Gardening Exercise Day is celebrated on June 06, 2015. Gardening is more than a hobby for those in pension. Gardening Exercise includes activities like digging, planting, reaping and cutting. Doing this one executes so many different movements that nearly all kinds of muscles are activated and automatically trained. As a reward a nice and cosy garden surrounds the house and invites to spend a great time outside. It is not clear who the creator of National Gardening Exercise Day really was.
The National Gardening Exercise Day calls attention to this healthy activity for people of all age. Who lacks a garden of his own can take part in gardens clubs or visit a neighbour. A garden offers the opportunity to have own vegetables and fruits and to have an own little place to recreate in fresh air. It also provides small animals like birds and hedgehogs a nice place to live which is a good step to go green.
