Keep Calm and be Polite; manners matter.

So many times during my week, I see people getting upset and downright angry over things that they have no control over. No, this is not about work, this is about people in general.

If someone wants help, the best way to get that is to be as kind/nice as possible. Telling someone to go fuck themselves or “FUCK OFF!” is usually not a good idea! I’m just saying. 😉

For instance I was at the doctor’s office with Hubs the other day, and this individual was ranting and using the most profane language yeah even for me! And then wondered why they were being asked to leave until they could speak appropriately.  Guess what came out their mouth as they were slamming the doors??? If you thought, “FUCKTHISSHIT!” then you’d be right! 😉

A please and a thank you does go a fair distance in seeking what you need. A calm and cooperative person also helps. Just some PSA/FYI for those that might need it.

We’re all in this together, it’s not a race, it’s not a competition. Just be polite! and calm!

Friday, the 25th of September, 2015 is the 268th day in 2015 and in the 39th calendar week.
General Events:
International Ataxia Awareness Day (IAAD)
September 25, 2015 in the World
The “International Ataxia Awareness Day” is an international effort from ataxia organizations around the world to dedicate September 25 as International Ataxia Awareness Day. Each participating country, state, or individual may have a specific plan for this event.
Most people have likely never heard of ataxia, which refers to a group of rare and often fatal genetically-based degenerative neurological disorders. Ataxia symptoms are progressive and often impact coordination, hearing, vision, and speech. The disease affects both genders and all ages, but too often strikes children and young adults.
The word “ataxia”, comes from the Greek word, ” a taxis” meaning “without order or incoordination”. People with ataxia have problems with coordination because parts of the nervous system that control movement and balance are affected. Ataxia may affect the fingers, hands, arms, legs, body, speech, and eye movements. The word ataxia is often used to describe a symptom of incoordination which can be associated with infections, injuries, other diseases, or degenerative changes in the central nervous system.
The goal of IAAD is for every individual to participate in some activity, creating awareness about ataxia. You could share something you know about ataxia with one other person who has never heard of it, educate a group of people by speaking at a school or civic group, contact the media, or raise financial support. International Ataxia Awareness Day has grown over the years, and more ideas keep coming in.

Day of German Butterbrot
September 25, 2015 in Germany
Day of German Butterbrot is observed on September 25, 2015. The German word Butterbrot describes a slice of bread topped with butter. Russian adopted the term “Butterbrot” to refer to sandwiches in general. Although it is increasingly replaced by other foods, it remains a common staple food in Germany. Since 1999, the last Friday in the month of September was made the day of butterbrot by the Marketing Organization of German Agricultural Industries.
A butterbrot is commonly a single slice of bread and one “ingredient” on top of the butter or margarine. For breakfast, this ingredient tends to be sweet and can be marmalade, jam, honey, chocolate spread, hazelnut spread, peanut butter, sprinkles, vlokken, or muisjes. For dinner – German-speaking countries traditionally eat only one cooked meal per day – the butterbrot is eaten with something savory, usually a single slice of cold meat or cheese, or sometimes spreads etc.

Comic Book Day
September 25, 2015 in the USA
National Comic Book Day takes place on September 25, 2015. A comic book, also called comic magazine or simply comic, is a publication, first popularized in the United States, of comics art in the form of sequential juxtaposed panels that represent individual scenes. Panels are often accompanied by brief descriptive prose and written narrative, usually dialog contained in word balloons emblematic of the comics art form.
The first comic book appeared in the United States in 1933 and was a reprinting of earlier newspaper comic strips which had established many of the story-telling devices used in comics. The term comic book arose because the first book sold as a comic book reprinted humor comic strips. Despite their name, comic books are not necessarily humorous in tone, and feature stories in all genres.
Since the introduction of the comic book format in 1933 with the publication of Famous Funnies, the United States has produced the most titles, along with British comics and Japanese manga, in terms of quantity of titles. American comic books first gained popularity after the 1938 publication of Action Comics, which included the debut of the superhero Superman. This was followed by a superhero boom that lasted until the end of World War II. After the war, the comic book industry rapidly expanded, and genres such as funny animals, westerns, romance and humor became popular.
Since the later 20th century, comic books have gained note as collectable items. Comic shops cater to fans, and particularly valuable issues have fetched in excess of a million dollars. Systems of grading comic books have emerged, and plastic bags and backing boards are available to maintain the comic books’ condition.
