I really don’t know about the rest of ya’ll, but I am enjoying watching that little red bar go across my nano widget counter. To me though it’s more about, “Wow! I’ve been writing nearly every day for the past two weeks and I’m already near the count! WooHOOO!” I’m even starting to get an idea for the end of this story.

not everyone is going to like me, yep. You guessed it. Room for another adventure. Yes! lol

will I make everyone wait a year till next NaNoWriMo, probably. LOL I will be working on the outline, and little notes here and there, but I seem to do my best writing under this deadline. 😉

am I the only one?

laters xoxo

World Prematurity Day
November 17, 2015 in the World
World Prematurity Day is observed on November 17, 2015. World Prematurity Day is an observance held on the 17th of November. Approximately 15 million babies are born prematurely each year accounting for more than one in 10 of all babies born worldwide.
It is estimated that the world’s 39 highest-income countries could cut around 58 000 premature births annually by implementing interventions to prevent preterm births, amounting to roughly US$3.0 billion in economic cost savings. World Prematurity Day aims to raise awareness for prematurity and the concerns of preterm babies and their families worldwide because infants born preterm represent the largest child patient group.
World Prematurity day was started in 2011 by the European Foundation for the Care of Newborn Infants (EFCNI), March of Dimes, Africa-based Little Big Souls International Foundation, and the National Premmie Foundation of Australia and has since been taken place in more than 50 countries.

International Students’ Day
November 17, 2015 in the World
International Students’ Day is observed on November 17, 2015. International Students’ Day is an international observance of student community. Taking the day differently than its original meaning, a number of universities mark it, sometimes on a day other than November 17, for a nonpolitical celebration of the multiculturalism of their international students. The date commemorates the anniversary of the 1939 Nazi storming of the University of Prague after demonstrations against the killing of Jan Opletal and worker Václav Sedlá?ek as well as against the occupation of Czechoslovakia, and the execution of nine student leaders, over 1,200 students sent to concentration camps, and the closure of all Czech universities and colleges.

World Peace Day
November 17, 2015 in the World
World Peace Day was established in about 1997, and is celebrated on November 17. The idea of the day is for individuals to do what they can in order to obtain world peace.
Peace is a sign of harmony characterized by the lack of violence, conflict behaviors and the freedom from fear of violence. Commonly understood as the absence of hostility, peace also suggests the existence of healthy or newly healed interpersonal or international relationships, prosperity in matters of social or economic welfare, the establishment of equality, and a working political order that serves the true interests of all.
Many different theories of “peace” exist in the world of peace studies, which involves the study of conflict transformation, disarmament, and cessation of violence. The definition of “peace” can vary with religion, culture, or subject of study.
One definition is that peace is a state of balance and understanding in yourself and between others, where respect is gained by the acceptance of differences, tolerance persists, conflicts are resolved through dialog, people’s rights are respected and their voices are heard, and everyone is at their highest point of serenity without social tension.

National Baklava Day
November 17, 2015 in the USA
Each year on November 17, lovers of the rich sweet pastry that is made with layers of filo pastry and filled with chopped nuts and sweetened with syrup or honey celebrate National Baklava Day.
Believed to have  originated by the Turkic people in Central Asian nations, Baklava (also spelled baklawa) is a popular sweet pastry found in many cuisines of the Middle East and the Balkans, made of chopped nuts layered with phyllo pastry. With its high sugar and fat content, it is very rich. Sprinkled with chopped walnuts and pistachio nuts and soaked in a solution of sugar or either lemon juice or honey or syrup and spices with rosewater.
This dessert is usually served cold.
Preparing this dessert may be somewhat time-consuming however, it is definitely worth the work and the wait.

Conversely, young trails are spatially very dense and the cause of meteor storms when the Earth enters one. Usual counts during a storm exceed 1000 meteors per hour, to be compared to the annual background (1 to 2 meteors per hour) and the shower background (a few per hour).
A meteor shower is a celestial event in which a number of meteors are observed to radiate from one point in the night sky. These meteors are caused by streams of cosmic debris called meteoroids entering Earth’s atmosphere at extremely high speeds on parallel trajectories. Most meteors are smaller than a grain of sand, so almost all of them disintegrate and never hit the Earth’s surface.
