Retrograde, Schmectograde

One of my colleagues today, said, “We must be in Mercury retrograde!!”
I informed her nicely, no, not really. But then I was thinking, there were 6 planets in Retrograde, how many still are. To Google we go and I found this, ICYMI: THESE 4 PLANETS ARE RETROGRADING THIS DECEMBER and we’ll be ending December in Mercury Retrograde. So hold on, and prepare yourselves! 😉

Also if you haven’t tried the Anchor by Spotify app that is available here on WordPress, you should. It’s very easy to use and yes, while it can read your blog post for you, this is nice for those with visual impairments, I just found out how to use the Typography option to enlarge my text font size. NICE!

I try to think of others and not just myself when doing these reviews, as I tell my patient’s on the unit, I teach what I use! The DBT Skills I teach, I use, so that I can effectively inform them what does work, well for me, as honestly it may not for someone else. And I inform them of the difficulty of practicing the skills. I am as honest as possible, and I’ve found people appreciate that. 😉 I’m not perfect, and I don’t try to be, I try to be kind, respectful, and honest with people. I find that most people mirror back what they see. There are the occasional people that don’t for a variety of reasons. I accidentally lost a friend as they never mentioned that they had Asperger’s. If I had seen them in person and not just dealt with him online through Social Media where he presented himself as not having issues. Then I would’ve noticed the signs. But our communication was only online through Social Media and I’ve lost a nice friend due to not being able to read the person through only typing. A person can come across as normal through the computer, and charming, But then, you meet them IRL (In Real Life) and they are a dramatic dumpster fire! Scary!

I truly portray myself as I am, and that shocks people.
