aww it’s love…

I love writing, doodling, and my love of miniatures…oh just wait till I get that post done. 🙂

but for something different to do for your loved ones, or friends like me, that love to write.

Here’s something different, and the artisian crafts these by hand!! So beautiful!

forgot to mention the important stuff; $$. $15. for the journal necklace, $3 for shipping to the United States. 🙂 so total $18. Really a good deal, cheaper than a dozen of roses, and will last much longer as well. 🙂

I love shopping on Etsy, much nicer service. One of my orders came to me with a hand written thank you card, lovely watercolor design on the front of the card. And some little peppermints. I was touched! So I ensure to pass it on, and let other’s know the joy of shopping on Etsy! give it a try!! but watch the reviews, much like on eBay.

okay, I understand typos. I make those myself, as well as grammatical and punctuation errors.

however…with that being said, I have stopped reading a few blogs, and a few web sites, as well as cancelled an order on a book. Why?

Because frankly their usage of the English language was horrible. They couldn’t spell, the punctuation was horrible!! for example: “Let’s eat grandma.”
Now then in the comments, let’s see who gets the correct way to punctuate this.

and just because one of your characters is from the South, doesn’t mean to say “Yawl.” What the hell is yawl? It’s spelled, ya’ll. Use spell check! 90% of online blogs have spell check. USE IT!
If you want to sell a book, then I suggest getting a good proofreader. Because honestly, some of the girls and I at work, aren’t purchasing from an author. Why? Cause his usage of the English language is…omg, awfully unbelievable. I still don’t know how he got published? Spelling errors are one thing, but punctuation is another. And when it’s more than one person that notices it….Dude!!! Seriously????

and now to go do some writing myself. lol

Awesome People!! Part one: the Writer! :)

That are also my friends; I have writers, artists, and quite the mix in my friends!! And I’ve decided to highlight some of them. Up first!

A writer that has his first book available now;
Brad Bosshart is a multi-cultural science fiction writer. He has 3 short-story anthology e-books available on Amazon, ibookstore, Lulu, and Barnes and Noble. He lives in Pittsburgh with his son and very understanding wife. He wrote his first sci-fi story in third grade and has been writing since then.

The books:
What do a psychic doctor, an ex-Marine cab driver, a bounty hunting ex-biker, a wealthy policeman, and a hybrid human oceanographer have in common? The are the Bolivar family, expert crime fighters of the 25th century. Their adventures take them from the encapsulated Luna to a partially terraformed Mars, the watery planet Oonstodi, and many other planets in the Milky Way Galaxy.

& it’s Wednesday!

I’m at work, getting lots of good hugs today! It’s always a better day with Hugs!
My grandmother used to tell me, “To be a good human bean, you need five hugs a day!” Yes, Bean. It’s from a book she read. She is one of the people I get my love of reading from. She was a Librarian, but a very cool librarian. You know the type, “Hey, you will love this author. Give them a try.” And she wasn’t the type to go “SHHHH!” all the time, now she did shush people when there were others trying to read/study but otherwise she loved discussing new books, new authors. And no genre was off-limits to her. Yeah, I’m mainly a SciFi reader, but thanks to her I have branched out, and I do have a lot of favorite authors; Yasmine Galenorn, Mercedes Lackey, JR Ward, Dan Brown, Sidney Sheldon, and a variety of SciFi. I’m still trying to find a series by John Cleve. I think that’s a penname? Has anyone ever read John Varley? Titan, Wizard and Demon. I re-read those till the binding came undone. I’m trying to find new copies of those books. Perhaps digital if necessary.
I prefer reading a book, a real turn the pages book. However, I’m not a snob. I will download digital books to read on the go. iBooks on the phone and the pad is awesome! I leave off at one spot on the Pad, and the Phone picks up where I left off at. And I have been able to get books that I can not find locally, and honestly don’t have the patience to wait for Amazon. LOL 😀

So what books are you reading? or book?
Right now, I’m still keeping up on the Black Dagger Brotherhood by JR Ward and the Otherworld series by Yasemine Galenorn. I’ve even preorderedd the digital book, to help. I want her to keep writing this series, and publishing companies keep track of the amount of preorders, which shows the demand for the series. Remember basic Econ, Demand equals supply! lol 😀

so back to reading and/or writing.
We’re working on a Holiday story, and so far it’s cute!! Lots of humor too!
hopefully we get it done in time for Christmas. Yule would be cutting it….LOL

While I’m waiting on book 11 of the Otherworld series from Yasemin Galenorn, I’m back to reading the two newest from JR Ward of the Black Dagger Brotherhood.
Yeah, I’m not into typical girlie books! LOL course I’m not a typical girlie!!
