I am preparing for NaNoWriMo 2019

I have been either busy with work, busy with family issues, busy with health issues-mine or just plain wiped out, that I have not been feeling like doing anything.

I finally had a creativity bunny pop up and next thing I know, I’ve been coloring and then I saw what date it was.  Well, the other day, and I was talking to Patrick about possibly writing for NaNoWriMo and he said, “Awesome!” he bounced some ideas off of me and normally, I listen with half an ear, however, this time he mentioned something I liked a lot!

Patrick has always been supportive of my writing, and here are three plot bunnies he has bought me to help me keep my focus when writing. The yellow Bunny is Truffles from Tokidoki and he has spikes, Patrick says that they are “idea-generating antenna!” LOL, I love it!

Then this evening when I woke up he handed me a box, “It came!” and when I unwrapped it, here is what I saw.

This year Alexandria’s story is superhero related, so Patrick got me a superhero, Snowball Plot bunny to keep me focused! Awww!

He’s already supervising me.

Wascally widdle wabbit! lol

I’m sorry Stargate Rewind peeps, I just haven’t had the time or wherewithal to write the blog posts. As I wrote above, I’ve been busy and mentally exhausted. So at this time, there will be no Stargate Rewind until further notice.

WOOHOOO NaNoWriMo count!! *updated*

Yes, I had some time to write in a full day with no interruptions and Patrick even brought me coffee! He gets me. 🙂 The kitties had to have their loving time, and it was a good break time. I was able to write 20,000 between Friday and Saturday!!! that’s about right for punching it and no editing, just write-write-write!!! And stay off the internet!! That is the most important part! When I stop checking my numbers constantly, I can actually do some writing. I put the phone in another room and just open up my word document and go for it. Plus, I never know what my nights are going to be like, so best to write when I can.  Plus, I’ve got a bit of cushion now.  My strategy is to get as much out as I can, and then if I need to stop and gather some wayward thoughts, I’m not stressing as much!

Okay! WOOOHOOO!! Go Me! I added all the numbers together from Friday and Saturday, so yes, it looks like a huge chunk of writing. But staying off the net is the most important thing to do. 😉 FYI my full day is Friday and Saturday combined, I work third shift, so I took a nap on Friday after the mani/pedi relaxation, and then wrote until Sunday morning! I woke up Sunday night with a sinus migraine, so no writing then and a little bit last night and yes, I added that into the count too!

in other news, I can’t in good conscience follow someone that can’t spell or use grammar! there is an app called Grammarly!! LOOK INTO IT! omfg… people, you’re writing a blog? how old are you, thirteen? stop with the text speak, a little bit is fine, but your whole paragraph is nothing but misspelled words and then text speak! NO!! STOP!

 

 

NANOWRIMO aka I’m crazy! lol

Yes, I’m a plantser- I have an outline-kinda, and I’m ready to start!

I’m still waiting on artwork from last year’s or the year before, I’ve lost track! 

so I’ve updated the widgets in the right gutter! lol 😉

“OMG! I’m here!!! So the movie I planned on watching didn’t pan out. But i have watched two of the Fall Season’s new tv shows, a reboot of Charmed and the new Teen Titans.

No spoiler review, just my opinion.

Charmed, I actually liked it. There were a few minor things, but this is a different family and so I’m watching without the Prue, Piper and Phoebe blinders on!! Just give it a chance and see what you think, remember to watch it as if you’ve never seen the other show.

Now as for the New Teen Titans… um… let’s see the positives first.

Good casting for Robin.

Once the CGI was incorporated, WOW! What a  difference that made!! I hope the haters choked on their sandwiches. LOL

But seriously, another one that I’ll have to watch a few more episodes before I decide. At this moment, I don’t like DC DARK and BROODY! Real life gives me enough of that! And Dick using a gun???

Yes, I have a problem with Batman and Robin using guns!!  So that’s a pretty big no for me! But I’m going to give it a few more episodes before I decide if it’s a big NO or a big no.
The sub-story with Raven seems interesting and Gar not much there. You got a glimpse but NO spoilers!! lol “

So, I’ve been coloring and figured I’d share some of the black and whites I’ve been using, you know, just in case you’re like me and enjoy coloring as a stress reliever. Especially since Sheppard took my knives, and all my weapons out of my room. He and Major Killjoy have also threatened to file down my claws if I threaten to bite the unmentionable person again. They are NO fun!! I dedicate one of these pages to them! HA!”

“Hello, Everyone! I hope ya’ll have had a great weekend and week so far. I’ve actually been watching an older television programme and I should have my thoughts on at least, season one of that show shortly. But I was asked to try a few new things and a friend sent me this outfit to wear just because they thought I’d look good in it, and I didn’t tell them I now have ears and a tail, but thanks to Teyla’s friends on the mainland, who by the way did an excellent job. The outfit fits much better. So no, no reviews of anything yet. I do want to see THE MEG! OMG! Have ya’ll seen the reviews for that! And really, where I am currently residing, and I want to watch it, yeah. I know.”

“Hello, Everyone! Has anyone missed me? Today we’re going to talk about a new trend, Vala just had to share with me. Somehow and I’m not asking, she made it to the Midway Station, and from there we had a lovely chat. For some unknown reason, she wasn’t allowed here and apparently we’re not to be alone together??? So I wasn’t able to take a trip to the station.  Uh, Bill is on the station, it’s not like we’re going to steal a ship and take over the galaxy. Oh, wait. Hmmm? Yeah, I see the issue now. Her and I both have impulsive moments. Anywho, back to the trend! We can now all be like the glitterati!!”
