I think my coffee has evil in it.

And it’s not just my cup of coffee. A lot of my co-workers this morning appear to be cranky. Crankier than usual. And I’ve been saying the word, “Bitchslap!” Over and over in my head, to be the answer to a problem I’m having. And I’m not a violent person! But honestly, it does sound really really good. It’s not going to really harm them. okay, okay, time out!

Yeah, see…. maybe I should switch to the decaff for a bit today. Or hey, I know, water! OI that sinus migraine is really affecting me.

I’m vasicillating between violent thoughts, and really silly ideas. I think I’ll stick with the silly and maybe go read a book on my iPad, or maybe do some artwork on my iPad.

anyone else ever have these days? I know, I can’t be the only one.

later, I’m in a time out right now, till I can stop saying bitch slap and giggling.

wooHOOO!

I have internet at the home again, and thanks to my lil sister for doing the research for me. The Virgin mobile, MIFI is Awesome! I was able to get the overdrive model-faster speed, and so far it’s been awesome! 😀

It connects up to five wireless devices. So that’s both laptops, my iPad, and my iPhone. 🙂 YAY! I was browsing on the iPad last night. Before it was Halloween movie night. Hocus Pocus, Monster High-Ghoul’s rule. And then it was nighty night time. I work days this week, and the flu bug I have, has been really making my body ache bad. Along with the Fibro, my body is exhausted. However no rest for moi yet.

I’ll probably be on the laptop tonight, after I get it all set up. And play catch up on some internet sites.

But for now, I’m just so excited to be back online at home!!

Happy Monday!!

it’s let’s review App’s day! woot! */*

Hello my fellow iPhone/iPad/iTouch users. And a special Thank you, to my baby Bro, for introducing me to one of the coolest, awesomest app around.

Yes, it’s that Cool!! And if you like FREE! Who doesn’t like FREE? this app is Free and gives you daily updates on what app’s are FREE! so woooHOOOO! 😀

Appsgonefree yes all one word, I found out. And everyday it gives you a new newsletter of which apps have gone free, are free for a limited time.

This app; Appsgonefree ***** (that’s five stars) because it will give you iPhone/iPad/iTouch apps. So be sure to d/l this on your other devices as well. FYI!

now then, what app’s have I downloaded since I got this?

Well there’s the Doctor Who Maze, while I’m not much into games on my devices, while waiting in the waiting room of the immediate med this weekend, it was a nice distraction. The graphics are good, the game play, not so much. so for me ** out of five.

And speaking of cute distractions, I downloaded the Monster High Ghoul Box, with a link to the episodes. 🙂 okay, I am a MH doll collector, so take this rating as I’m slightly biased, *****.

And on today’s free list of apps, I downloaded two of them. Doo- a two do app that takes, text, video and photo. For someone like me, I like the ability to record my to-do’s and even put a photo in. Doo **** for it’s functionality, so far.

The other app was ArcFrame, an interesting little framing app, that can accomodate more than one pic. I did a quickie this morning, and customized the background. for Free, definitely a good deal!! ***** I’m always looking for new ways to frame pix, and on the go…definitely 5 out of 5. The customization is a key feature for me. The ability to do more than one, two or three pix is also a plus!
I have to change the format from bitmap, to jpeg later, and then I’ll post it. 🙂

holiday Monday

But let’s not forget why we have today off; Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (yeah, I like wiki for quick info)

Me, I did sleep in, felt great! 🙂 Got the main comp to operate, so I’m painting in Photoshop, playing Vampire Wars on Facebook, and watching Crusade on my iPad.
ah, technology is fun. Allows me to email friends far away, IM same. And while I’m playing on the main comp. My iPad is playing movies/television shows I have downloaded. I like it!

And for those that are fellow SciFi geeks, you might have heard of Crusade. If not click the link that I put in. A spin off of Babylon 5. I am a Star Trek fan, but never got into Deep Space Nine or Voyager, I was watching Babylon 5. And enjoying it immensely.

The Beginning with Commander Sinclair

The Shadow War with Captain Sheridan

Legend of the Rangers

Crusade

Interesting review;

So please remember the reason, why we are off work today- if you are. And enjoy!!
take care!

& I’m off today! woohooo!

I’m at work, getting lots of good hugs today! It’s always a better day with Hugs!
My grandmother used to tell me, “To be a good human bean, you need five hugs a day!” Yes, Bean. It’s from a book she read. She is one of the people I get my love of reading from. She was a Librarian, but a very cool librarian. You know the type, “Hey, you will love this author. Give them a try.” And she wasn’t the type to go “SHHHH!” all the time, now she did shush people when there were others trying to read/study but otherwise she loved discussing new books, new authors. And no genre was off-limits to her. Yeah, I’m mainly a SciFi reader, but thanks to her I have branched out, and I do have a lot of favorite authors; Yasmine Galenorn, Mercedes Lackey, JR Ward, Dan Brown, Sidney Sheldon, and a variety of SciFi. I’m still trying to find a series by John Cleve. I think that’s a penname? Has anyone ever read John Varley? Titan, Wizard and Demon. I re-read those till the binding came undone. I’m trying to find new copies of those books. Perhaps digital if necessary.
I prefer reading a book, a real turn the pages book. However, I’m not a snob. I will download digital books to read on the go. iBooks on the phone and the pad is awesome! I leave off at one spot on the Pad, and the Phone picks up where I left off at. And I have been able to get books that I can not find locally, and honestly don’t have the patience to wait for Amazon. LOL 😀

So what books are you reading? or book?
Right now, I’m still keeping up on the Black Dagger Brotherhood by JR Ward and the Otherworld series by Yasemine Galenorn. I’ve even preorderedd the digital book, to help. I want her to keep writing this series, and publishing companies keep track of the amount of preorders, which shows the demand for the series. Remember basic Econ, Demand equals supply! lol 😀

so back to reading and/or writing.
We’re working on a Holiday story, and so far it’s cute!! Lots of humor too!
hopefully we get it done in time for Christmas. Yule would be cutting it….LOL

Digital magazines; I downloaded the Wizard World app to my iPad and downloaded some of the issues I wanted to read. So far all Free! I figured out where they get the sponsorship. It’s cool at the moment, I can see where it could get tedious.

The ad’s in the magazine are clickable links. So now when you’re looking at the ad and drooling (oh, maybe that’s just me. 🙂 ) You can touch the page and it will take you to the site to order whatever product it’s advertising. Good news, you can X-close the advert and go back to reading the magazine. At the moment, I like the clickable pages-I can see where it can be dangerous. LOL

Bonus, I don’t need a wifi connection to read the magazines I’ve already downloaded, and since I have the wifi version-not net connected iPad that is valuable to me. If you want to download an issue, then yes. You do require net connectivity.

Some of the articles in the digital version are geared towards the digital media. I like that. I also like that they don’t appear as sexist as the print version. I used to have a sub to Wizard World, but obviously they don’t believe girls/women read comics, and think it’s okay to have some stupid sexist comments. It would be fine, if they had female journalist’s doing the same to the fanboys. But alas, they don’t.

Anywho-on the review, if you like Free, you like to read, and you’re a comic geek like me, then download the Wizard World app, you also get a head’s up on upcoming conventions.

all in all for the price; Free! It’s definitely an app I’m glad I downloaded.

Peace & Happy Wednesday

pix later….:D
