We went and ran another errand and picked up some grocery stuff. I also picked up a salad bowl and added my own grilled chicken! Yummy 😋

As much as we both love salads. We’ve learned not to buy the salad fixings. Why? Because we don’t eat it fast enough! But I did miss having cherry tomatoes and sliced eggs. I did pick up some grapes to go with my happy cow cheese and pretzels. And we finally got some food that Patrick will eat.

It’s a Saturday, so this entry is short.

What’s been going on with me. OI! Quite a lot lately.

Last Saturday night, Hubs was in an accident. He’s fine. And no, I’m not at liberty to discuss it. Per his request. (So the nibby person can stop asking-Thank YOU!) 😛

Last week I was out of work, and driving back and forth to visit him at the hospital. I remember how much when I was inpatient at a hospital,  how I felt when I didn’t have a visitor daily. So… Yeah! 🙂

Anywho, I’ve been letting people know I’m okay, by keeping up on my daily calendar posts.  And Thank you, Skeen!! He’s my source for those calendar posts!! He’s an awesome friend, and great with the virtual hugs and support I need!! You are Awesome!! 😀 xoxoxo

To my friends on FB, and Happier, thank you! You have no idea how much your support last week and through the weekend meant to me. Some of you kept me saner than others. And some of you got me to giggle, always appreciated! Ya’ll are Awesome!! 😀 xoxoxoxo

Happy August 1st

Otherwise known to me as Lammas. A Pagan/Wiccan holiday on the wheel of the year. One of the harvest festivals.

Today was also a hateful day against my friends in the LGBT community, as it was chick a butthead’s day for their whatever. I have friends that decided to do a non-violent protest and stage a kiss in. Yeah, LGBT members that had the stomach to go to a Chick fil a went and kissed in the restaurant. YAY! Other companies on line, KFC and I can’t remember the name of the other group, were saying come and have good chicken, without being basted in hate and ignorance. Go KFC!!

and a Group I belong to Lambda Legal, were asking for a donation, say the cost of a meal at Chick fil a to be donated to help support the LGBT community. I could do that. I also went to Moe’s southwest grill and had a lovely lunch there. I spend my money at places that don’t cater to hate, intolerance, bigotry and ignorance. It’s my money and I’ll spend it at places that I want to. Some moron on Facebook earlier, actually had the chutzpah to state he had the right to be a bigot, but that we didn’t have the right to put him out of business. UH dude! Okay, you’re right, you have the right to be a Bigot. But… with that being said. I have the right to do what I want, shop where I want with my money. And if your bigoted attitude causes people not to want to do business with you, than that is not my fault! That is yours! Own the responsibility of having the right to be a Bigot! Awww, poor widdle bigot… WAAH! I don’t have the time to give a fuck for you right now. Honestly!

Sorry, but there is to much other important issues in the world right now, in our economy. From the government level, to the state and down to our individual cities/towns. If people want people to do business with them, then be a responsible person, and keep your ‘beliefs’ out of the equation. Sounds simple enough, right? I mean look at the bru ha ha with Chick fil a, I know quite a lot of people, that chicken there is no longer an option. We have Mickey D’s, Wendy’s, KFC, hell most all other fast food places have a chicken sandwich. And the Muppets dropped them as well. You know you’re in trouble, when Kermit and company no longer want to be associated with you!

Anywho, it’s been a day. Not good, not bad. It has just been a day. The humidity was down, so that was good. My car was fixed, so that is good. I have friends that I’ve spoken to today, and that is awesome! and I’ll be heading home shortly, and hubs sent me an email that he has a big surprise for me, and dinner is waiting. Yeah, that is pretty good too!

Halloween is in the air

And I got some treats today! woot 🙂

hubs called from work and I met him for a nice Mexican dinner. Where he gave me a cute Halloween tote filled with some fun stuff. Purrs perfume, orange nail polish, and a black crackle polish to go over it, and an iTune’s card. So I could download a book or some Halloween apps.

Yeah, it’s nice to get a bag of treats before the day! 🙂

Now, what do I have to do, not to get any tricks the day of? Well, I need to buckle down, and clean/organize my room. I need to go through my clothes and get them ready to go to the women’s shelter. I’ll wash and dry them, fold them up neatly and box them to go. That way they are ready to wear. Even though they’ve been in my drawers or closet, I’ll still wash them first.

So am I the only one that does a Fall cleaning?

woo, been an interesting day!
Not a lot of ppl at Pagan Pride day this year, and I think that is somewhat telling. I myself, got a little discouraged/frustrated with some of the handouts I read. I always pride myself on being a tolerant person. I am open to agree with disagreement. What that means, I myself, may not agree with your specific opinion, however I agree that you have the right to have it. And then I expect the same. Which 90% of the time, does actually happen.

so when I read a sign today from the Norse branch, it kind of upset me. To quote, “My God has a hammer! Your God was nailed to a Cross!”
I’m sorry, that is disrespectful, not to mention inaccurate!!
So many Pagans, get a bad reputation, and uh…the above quote might be a reason why! I have been out of the broom closet for years, and I handle things with a sense of humor. “No, I’m not a black witch. I’m not a white witch. I’m a Green witch.” Which then allows for further discussion. Let’s start a discussion, not a yelling screaming, burning the witch at the stake thingie here people!! omg!

So after being somewhat disappointed in the turnout, the attitudes of the people, and missing seeing some people that didn’t show this year, (and now I know why). We went to a New Age bookstore. The people that weren’t at the festivities were here. YAY! 🙂 and a better time was had!
In other news at the store, I picked up some clothing, lovely outfits that Yes, I will be wearing to work. And then a new piece of jewelry that is just what I’ve wanted for a while. It’s an Amethyst Pendulum that you wear. So when I find myself out of sorts, I can look at the pendulum and feel more in control of my surrounds. Reasoning; if it ain’t rocking, then I’m okay. Sort of like a compass if you will. I don’t know, may just be me and my weird thoughts. lol 🙂

and then we got home, I took a long nap. Woke up just in time, to get called onto duty half an hour early. So I’m now on duty, and at the office. I’m debating…go home, try to get a little more sleep? Or? Stay here for a bit, and do some Tumblr’ing and obviously, I’m blogging. LOL 🙂 talk to my Best Friend on the phone? OR Go get some more sleep.

All the chaotic vibes/feelings from earlier gave me a headache, and I’ve been feeling out of sorts. Yes, think when you’re in a room with a cranky person. You’re fine, but later you start to feel awful. Exactly that! The amethyst pendulum has some magical properties that allow for healing. And yes, when I put it on, it felt like my headache was going away. But then again, your mind is a powerful tool-so if you believe that something is going to work. Then omg, it’s going to work. Why people can get very sick, even if nothing is physically wrong with them.

lalalalalalala laaaaaa I’m thinking maybe go outside, enjoy the Autumn air, have a smoke and make a decision then. 🙂

Thursday aka 1 day closer to the weekend

Another one day weekend. I’m on call for twelve hours on Sunday. However that’s okay.
