WOW! a new better Supervisor

I’m floored to have a supervisor that appears to be 1) human, 2) compassionate, 3) cares for her people and 4) not a micromanager!! Her liking Pepsi is just a bonus! LOL 😀

Seriously, I’m feeling good about this new supervisor while mine is on Maternity leave for the next two months, I’m wondering if I can keep her for longer than that! Seriously!

And below, I feel as if I’m the only person that likes snow! Honestly, if I can stay home and not have to drive on the icy roads, the better! But just snow alone, yes, I love snow! It’s just so peaceful!

hmmm…I’m awake! lol

Some days, titles just don’t come in to my head… and other’s they are way to sarcastic to use. just me.

So I’m awake as the title says, I’ve been awake since oh…maybe 1am. I tried to go to bed way early last night and everyone either called or texted me. Love ya’ll too…but um…ack! (I’m thinking of turning off my cellular data when I go to bed on nights I’m on call the next day!)

So I really had to get up at 3 am, and get ready for work. Yes, I’m on call and my supervisor was really worried about the weather this weekend, and I didn’t want to sleep on a cot. Did that enough for years in the military. OWIES!! 😦

So Hubs got me here around 4:30 and he had to go to work himself. He’s coming back to get me, when my shift is over at 8p. yay! I plan on sleeping in tomorrow morning.

On the plus side; I have all my paperwork started for the entire week! Yes! I’m um, that paperwork anal! I would rather have my paperwork started then wait till the day of, or heaven forbid, right before I see a person. I am not a fly by your seat person. I like preparation and having time to review, etc.

So…I’ve brought my laptop, with a few movies, have the iPad-also with movies on it, and I can always keep myself entertained with my iPhone. Or…I could just sit here and enjoy the moment. Yeah, that’ll probably last about five minutes. LOL 😀

Please be careful out there, I am watching it snow now! The snow wasn’t the problem it was the wind causing the white out conditions on the road, take your time driving, and do not tail gate someone. We almost got rear-ended by someone that was following a tad to closely this morning. And I almost wanted to punch them, for their continuous honking. If you don’t like the way we’re driving… pass or get off the road. OI! Personally, I think this person should have gotten off the road. Unless you’re an emergency vehicle there is no need to drive faster than the posted limit, and with weather conditions, you should slow it down. You won’t get a ticket for that. If you can’t drive in the conditions-Stay HOME!

so…how bad was the snow?

Hubs was off work on Monday and Tuesday, he unburied the car yesterday and had taken pix for me to share here. woot!

He shoveled quite a bit of snow! And it’s snowing again outside right now. Ah the joys of snow! LOL 😀
I just wanted to share these though, as some of my friends were like, ‘no way it can’t be that bad.’ Um yes it was! lol

Good Morning :)

I heard on the radio last night, while I was stopped at a traffic accident that there was a possibilty of snow overnight. It had already started raining which I think might have been an issue with the accident I saw. (Pic below- and yes, I was stopped when I snapped it) There were no fatalities that I saw, thank goodness, but it was pretty nasty. I think there were two ambulances and a bunch of flashing lights going off.

And then this lovely morning, I walked outside and yep, there was snow on the ground. And by snow, I mean a very very lite dusting. It won’t stay. It’s not cold enough, and the ground is still wet. Not to mention it’s raining again. So…annoying for some, but otherwise it was pretty! IMO! lol 🙂

On the other hand, please be careful out there, it is changing weather and it can cause some serious delays and/or accidents like I saw last nite. Leave your cell phones in your pockets, purses, what have you. Pay attention to your driving.

And if you haven’t packed your cold weather gear in your vehicle, now is the time to do so. I’ll put together a list I got when I was in the Army of what to keep in your car in case of emergencies.
