And yep, it’s more NaNoWriMo goodness! 😀 I really really love writing. It’s a good stress reliever, having a bad day, write it out. Having a good day, write it out. Plus the bonus to all the writing, I’ve noticed a difference in my non-creative writing. What I mean is, I find other ways to do my documentation-still correctly, but using better words/terms. My language is clearer and cleaner. Why blah blah blah, yadda yadda, when I can get it down more succinctly!  One of my favorite prof’s in college asked us what is a good word for use? A lot of people me included stated, utilize! It’s also a good word, but sometimes use is the best word. Stop working harder, work smarter. And this writing for fun is helping me work smarter too. Ooooh, well played NaNoWriMo, well played! LOL 😀
So update on where I am! I started this morning with close to two hundred before I started work, yep, still going in early to maintain my writing. 😀 I’m such a dork! But I’m cute and awesome too. 😛 hee hee
and tonight the stats are:
Words Written Today: 2,629
Target Word Count: 50,000
Target Average Words Per Day: 1,667
Total Words Written: 35,606
Words Remaining: 14,394 YES! I’m under 20,000 to write! And still going strong! You feel me Nano? LOL I’m cracking myself up, I’ve done this twice and I’ve never reached this close. I’m strong to the finish cause I’m a drinking my coffee… yeah yeah. I don’t have any spinach. Sounds good, though!
I hope ya’ll crack up or giggle a bit when reading some of my blogs. Laughter is good medicine.
Have a lovely night, stay warm and sweet dreams from cold cold brrrr North Central Indiana!

you know- early thankful thought

It’s going to be a good day, when; you get to work early, my friend gave me an egg mcmuffin for breakfast, the coffee is already on, and you’ve already written close to 200 words! LOL 😀

Yes, I am easily amused, and easily thankful. Honestly I think those are two good qualities to have. I notice and appreciate some things, that others take for granted. eh. I’ll stay weird and Awesome! Yeah! LOL

Have a beautiful day! 😀 and stay warm, it’s cold out there! Well it is here!

That last one was kind of meh! lol :p

So how about this graphic!! OH Yeah! Go me, I can feel it now… working on how many chapters I want to tie this story up. I only went for 26 in my outline, and ooops, my characters added in a few extras! LOL 😀
*** I don’t hate but dislike odd numbers… so… I guess we’ll play the chapter numbers as they happen, I end with what I end with. 🙂 I just want to do this, so I can say I did! Oh yeah, *happy wiggle* commencing! CMU 😀

woohoo

SNOW! WooHOOOOOO!

Yep! It’s snowing here today in North Central Indiana, and wow! It’s so pretty! Yes, I’m weird, I already know that. 😀 I love S N O W! But instead of listening to “let it snow”, I’m listening to the soundtrack from Mamma Mia! LOL I crack myself up! 😀

I’m thankful for lazy Sunday’s; woke up late, mmm the smell of brewing coffee greeting me. And then I rolled over and grabbed the book I was reading, The Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan. Yes, I’m a fan of his novel’s. Don’t discount them. As a lover of mythology…mmmm! He’s brought the past and the present together in a new twist! I like them!! I’m looking forward to his next series that deal with the Gods of the Asgard. Give him a chance you might like his stories; Rick Riordan

So after finishing the fifth of the Heroes of Olympus. I decided to do some meditation and yoga and get my head and body geared up for some writing. Yeah. I could’ve spent the morning writing on my own story… but eh. I love to write as much as I love to read. It’s like my own personal balance- my own yin/yang one leads to the other, or inspires the other.

So I’m thankful for a lazy Sunday morning doing what makes me happy. Hubs is playing his video game and I’m on the computer writing this entry, listening to the soundtrack with headphones on, and preparing to write my story! It’s never been about winning – I’ve been hearing from others that are about to give in, okay! take a break! Go do something completely different. Don’t give up on your characters, don’t give in to your desire to write. But let the competition go! Yeah, seriously!! Give up on that aspect. Deadlines suck! I agree! Been there, done that… EH! Whatev!

I get asked every year what my New Year’s resolution is? stick with me, this will make sense…  I don’t have one, I’ve kept the one I did fourteen years ago, “Stop making resolutions! Do or do not!” I know very Yoda of me. LOL But I’ve kept that one! So how does this tie into the whole NaNoWriMo, stop looking at the end all/be all of writing for you. Stop! I’m writing because I love to tell a story! Yes, I want the badge that I completed it, but I’m only competing with myself. That I can finish this. That is my goal, that I can start and finish a story that is more than just a few thousand words. The goal is not to have 50,000 by the end of November, I’m not going to lie though. I love watching my numbers climb daily, but that’s because Nano month is getting one used to writing on a daily basis. More than just a couple of paragraphs on a story or a blog entry. 😉 Any way, my goal is to complete this story by the end of the month… and yeah, honestly I do like knowing that I can set a goal; whether it be a daily word count, or the fact that I am now setting aside time to write. But to complete these goals, YEAH! That’s my badge of honor!! 😀

so for the NANOWRIMO writer’s take a break; breathe, read, watch a movie, go take a walk… do something else for a day. Now then, come back and finish your characters stories!! I wanna read them. Mine will be available on my other blog… Yep! It is going to help me, revamp that blog! 😀 It’s sad to see one character go, however sometimes you have to let go to see how far you can fly! 😀
(I will be explaining on that particular blog. 😦 )

Okay, see I got it all back together! I’m also thankful for the way my brain processes random things into a cohesive thought. At least it’s coherent to me. LOL 😀 Have a beautiful day!! Stay warm! [_]>
***Notice that this is the longest blog entry I’ve written… see the whole nano is working within me, The NaNo/Force is strong within this one! LOL 😛

Anyone else cracking up now??? I probably should’ve issued a no-drinking while reading this entry! LOL 😀

Thankful thought for the early afternoon

I was going to say morning. LOL 😀 Then I noticed it’s after noon.

What a beautiful Saturday, it’s a little cold, but still very beautiful outside. I got talked into some morning errands, now I’m back, coffee on to brew, laundry in the washer, and bagels. Yep, coffee and bagels my writing routine on the weekends. Although the chocolate chip waffles from Eggo look pretty good. 😀

And now back to writing on my nanowrimo, I’m breaking my goal today. That is the halfway mark! 25,000 and I’m at 22727 right now. So I have 2,273 words to write today! Okie dokies, let the tap tap tapping begin!!

Have a fabulous Saturday, stay warm! Go for a walk outside, enjoy the fall air, the scenery and I’m fairly certain that will help warm you up. I miss volksmarches in Germany!

Oh a bit of a funny! I got challenged this morning on fb by my friend, Paula. Who is also writing this month!

I got tagged by Paula in a game called Eight Terrible Titles.

How do you play? EASY. Blindly scroll through your manuscript. As you scroll, let your cursor fall wherever it may. Select the phrase it lands on and–BAM! You’ve got yourself one terrifically terrible title! Repeat this 7 more times. Let the good times roll. Tag eight others (or whoever you want!).

So, here are 8 from my current WiP (for NaNoWriMo):

1) You can’t stay on Earth.

2) It’s his/her fault!

3) Yeah, that’s what he said.

4)  Read the newest proposal from the remarkable people of Area 51.

5)  No, that is not normal.

6) Cookies, dangit no cookies.

7) Screwed the pooch.

8) Did you just sniff me?

And now I’m tagging:

Have fun!

Thankful thought for the evening

Having a full day with no distractions, other than my own making, to write.

I have written over 3,000 words today! I’m so close to the halfway mark, I can almost touch it. However. Having an issue with the power blinking off and on, again. And my ISP not cooperating. So I’m calling it here for the night and will start again early in the morning. And by early, I’m thinking around ten-ish. 😀

Ya’ll have sweet dreams! take care

xoxo
