Good, bad, eh it is what it is… ?

Well I’m a horrible type A personality, which I’ve knocked down to an A- LOL

I started a series for last Halloween season, and I’ve been working on it sporadically.
so I’ll be posting it this September and going through October. 😀 That’s the game plan!! Now to see if I can locate the notebook I have been writing in. Once again Mr. OCD traits has re-arranged my desk to his standards. Love the man, dearly. But… He truly has to stop messing with my personal areas. :p
Thank goodness he knows not to touch the altars. I keep telling him, I’m going to go into his sock drawer and put all his socks together with different ones. Honestly, they are all the same to me. but not to him. I shouldn’t be so mean, huh? LOL
I’ve texted him, and he’s drawing me a map now to placement on my desk. No Joke!! oi…

so wish me luck, because I really want to get these thoughts on line, before Samhain this year. Woot! I have a goal now. Love Goals. 😀 (remember type A personality…) 😛

Let’s get real…

This entry is inspired by a radio talk show that is driving me bazonkers!! And dangit, my radio can’t get any other station.

So I’m sick and tired of pretending…pretending to be what society wants me to be…nah, that’s not right either. Society- well some of it, is okay with me. I’m sick of what others think of me. okay, that might work! 😛

So who am I?
I’m a disabled Veteran, a Wiccan, a smartass and a nice person! That’s it in a nutshell. But what gets me in issues is that I’m a Wiccan. OMG! So my spiritual path is different than yours (maybe) but that doesn’t make me wrong or evil. There are many paths to the divine, I don’t bash yours, don’t attempt to burn me! I’m a smartass, and speak sarcasm fluently-see above- it’s a defense coping mechanism. Oh yeah, I’m a therapist too. lol
I like to think I’m a fairly smart person as well, my life experiences and education are probably different than yours. It doesn’t make it wrong, diversity is necessary for life. If we were all the same, it would be freaking boring and annoying.
I’m a geek, nerd, dork what ever label you want to give me, I wear ’em all proudly! I dress up for Con’s, it’s fun!! And I don’t stand out like the newbies. I still read comics, watch cartoons and gush over the latest geek news. And yes, I’m a Woman!! 😀

The main thing I’m trying to get across here, stop believing the stereotypes!!
I really am a nice person, once you get to know me. And that’s the thing, people hear I’m a Witch and automatically they want nothing to do with me. That’s sad! 😦 You could be missing out on a wonderful friendship. But you’ll never know.

the other impetus for this entry, Pagan Pride day is right around the corner, and I already see the people that don’t want us to have a nice day! And I’ve started wearing my pentacle and the Goddess on the Moon jewelry. I have to keep it hidden underneath my shirt. For fear I might scare the normies! (said in humor-see Monster High) le sighs…
And omg, I certainly can’t discuss why I’m getting so excited!! And wish me luck getting the next few Wiccan Holiday’s off, I only ask for three: Samhain, Yule and Midsummer. These three have the most personal significance for me. I celebrate all the holidays on the wheel. )O( Blessed BE! Embrace Tolerance and Diversity!!

Been busy…

So no blogging for a bit, and between the sinus headaches and the migraines…I haven’t been able to write, much less concentrate. 😦

But this past week has been my birthday and it was Awesome!! Hubs fixed me a birthday cake and brought it in, it was gone in less than an hour. LOL 😀 everyone appears to like his baking. It was delicious. He used the White Chocolate indulgence cream cheese as the middle between the layers. OMG! So sinfully good!! 🙂

Then my friend, Tari brought in the second birthday cake, Better than Sex cake. OMG! That was soo good.
I only had a little bit. But that was more than enough.

And then, I thought about it, OMG! I had two birthday cakes. How awesome is that?? Love & Hugs to Hubs and Tari!!

Then I received a very lovely present from my friend, Vickie! She knows I love the Monster High Dolls! lol

Isn’t she pretty? I love those wings! 🙂

And it was a wonderful birthday!! So many lovely wishes on my Facebook stream and in email’s. I love my friends. 😀

The next day, I received an amazon gift card via email. How sweet! I’ve been trying to order some books on there. Imagine my surprise, when I saw that a book for a penny, was going to cost me six dollars in shipping? I mean, wth? No. So I’m still looking.

I also received another surprise from another friend in the mail. The note inside read; “She kinda acts like a Bitch, you know, like you. LMAO! love you!!”

Another Monster High Doll!! Yippeee Skippeee!!!

I had the day off today, for a medical appointment. Ugh 😦
I woke up this morning, with a sinus headache, it started last night. I took some night time sinus meds and was able to sleep. But this morning woke up with a headache. I went to my appt and after the procedure and the not so nice clinician…it turned into a full blown migraine. It skipped Categories 1-3, and went straight to four! woohoo not! 😦

On the way home, I stopped and got some coffee. Helped a bit, and I made it home. I had another package waiting on me, but the bed was calling me. I needed a nap. When I woke up, hubs was home, and informed me that his coworkers got us a gift certificate to my favorite chinese restaurant; Teppenyaki. Woot! so we went to have dinner. Really good!!

We’re back home now, and I’m enjoying a cup of coffee, it’s storming outside, and the headache is slowly going away. YAY!! And I’ve opened the package. No card, no note… so Thank you to the lovely wonderful person that gave this to me?? She’s Awesome!!

WooHOOOOO! one more and I have this whole set!! 😀 why yes, I am a big kid. Thank you for noticing. lol

so the headache is slowly going away, and I’ve been wanting to write some more on the Halloween story I’m working on. 😀 I miss writing on a daily basis. But some days, I need a break from the computer.

Tomorrow is Pagan Pride day in Indy, and unfortunately, I will not be going. I’ll be there in spirit!
